My PC has been communitcating with my phone fine until yesterday when everytime I put the phone on the sync station, it says that "MrouterRuntime" has encoutered an error and has to be closed... so now I can't communitcate at all with the phone... I've tryed reinstalling the program... no good, what the hell is wrong!?

Try re-installing the Communication Suite.
I had a similar problem before and this fixed it.

try installing the latest version of the pc suite, available at SE's site, the one that comes in the box had similar problems for me as well as using a ridiculous amount of system resources. So I installed the newer version and it seems more stable.

I had this problem too.
I'm 99.9% confident it's down to firewall and/or USB.
Try the following (it's ALWAYS worked for me).
Disable the firewall...
DON'T move the mouse whilst the connection is been made.

if youre using mc afee, then you must disable some command in the settings, mc afee doest allow external devices to sync, well atleast the P800 especially with the old sync software, theres a thread on this topic, im not sure if i read it here or in my-symbian

ive just started to have the same problem
uninstalled mcaffe uninstalled everything se reinstalled it all apart from mcaffe (went back to norton) but still get an error ?:(

ya, mcafee suckz.
I am now using CA's eTrust Antivirus 7. works like a charm..
also, try to disable your kazaa program as i think this conflicts with the PC suite for some reason..
