I'm not sure on the P800, but on other SE phones it means your network has been found.

Conidering this has been the standard on Ericsson phones for years, Im surprised too how ur 'phone specialist' O2 sales staff didnt know! :-s Mind u I have been in an Cellnet store before and the sales staff dont seem 2 wanna come + help u + they look so bored! The shop interior was also so depressing! When they had the bright idea to change their name to O2, believe me that was all that changed apart from the shop signs + branding! Just look at their website, its so tragic, I tried to find out what their contract tarrifs were but u have to 1st go thru about 3 unclear pages then I still wasnt shown anything so I just gave up..its easier to find this info on the Orange Value Plan page! Anywayz..this feature was quite useful 2 me when I woz on holiday as it let me know when I would come in2 range when I was stuck in a signal blackspot.

Although I recall my T68i clicking I had never noticed that my T610 does not. I am sure the T68i used to click if I chose a profile other than 'normal' too?

If I am not mistaken, the T610 is the first Ericsson / Sony Ericsson phone that doesn't do the three clicks when the network is found.
