ive searched for this here on esato because i remember it coming up before but could not find the topic,
has anyone had the keypad on the p800 actually leave small marks on the screen where they touch it? mine has and it is really P:$$ing me off
would this be covered on a warrenty? (there is a scratch on the top of my screen also but that was my fault) but the other marks are totally SE's fault at bad design,
Has anyone had there screen replaced under warrenty and if so where?
Would MPRC do it? i bought mine sim free from a private trader(not one of the networks) as its not avail on the networks here (ireland)
also as i mentioned in another post some of the charcters on screen are mising and replaced by ---
eg say in messages il have an sms and it'll be

vodaf-- You have new M--
basically in various places on the screen the ends of words are missing letter and are replaced by ---
and the Zoom function in most apps doesnt work properly,
Small
Medium
Large
there's not much differance between the three
i have the Latest Firmware updated 12/09/2003 (R2D02)

i know this is really two topics but just wanted to get it all in

I got the same prob.There are spots on the screen where the guttons touch.My flip also broke.Its spring wont work any more.Is that at least covered by guarantee?

Well the only way to change your screen is only if you have dust under it and claim that its a dead pixel as i did give it a try if you like but its better for you to take the phone in the sony ericsson center.Or you can give them the phone to the store and when it returns complain about the marks on the screen but only then

So if you have some dust and i think we all have send it for dead pixel and when its returned if they dont change your screen then complain for this little holes nice trick isn it?
