Hey all, left my phone on my desk last night, woke up this morning and found the screen was blank. Thinking this was strange cos the battery was full, i go to swtich it on....but it won't come on.

What could be the problem? I have tried recharging the battery, but there is a constant red led on the top left. Have left it to charge for about 2 hours but still no response. Have taken the battery out, left it for a while and plugged it back in, still same......won't switch on!

Any ideas? Is it just a dead battery? The phone and battery etc. are brand new, only 2 weeks old.

try with another battery... but I doubt it will help... it's probably a hardwareproblem in the phone that has caused it...

Ok, will try another battery. Wonder if SE will send another replacement battery if indeed it is that?

It is definitely a hardware problem because I experienced this myself. In my case some moisture destroyed a chip in the phone. The battery would eventually charge but would be dead in a day or two, leaving the phone unable to start and charge.
