Can anyone from Norway help me please. If you have a mobile phone in Norway contract or pay as you go, do you have to register your personal details such as home address and so on. It is just that I had my car and stuff stolen in Sweden, and the phone that was in the car was used to make some calls to numbers in Norway, and as these could have been contacts of the car theif, it could be easy to trace them if their details are able to be found through the mobile numbers I have. I had thought of giving out the numbers on here and getting every one to call them at all times of the day and night, but may leave that idea until the police have let me know what they can do.

So will you be able to tell whether their numbers will give address details, and whether the numbers I give you have maybe called each other, as this would mean that they at least know each other, and therfore are conected in some way. If you can tell me that they do have details of addresses and that they may have called each other since the 31st of August then this could be the lead I am after. I am not asking you to give me their details as this would be asking too much of you, but just that the details are available to the correct authorities, and that they may have been in touch with each other over the last few days since the theft. This is very important to me as we lost everything in this theft. About a total of £23.000 woth of car and goods in all, and as the car is what I used to run my buissines back in the UK, it is now in great danger of going under, as the insurance are taking so long. So if with a little detective work I can may be get someone convicted for this crime I for one will feel a lot better, and Norway or Sweden or both will have a few more criminals of the streets.

There is two major networks in Norway; Telenor Mobil and Netcom.
Both of these supply Pay As You Go.
With Telenor you have to register with full name and personal ID-number.
With NetCom you don't have to give any details what so ever.
So, if the calls was made to a NetCom phone it might not be traceable.

Hi,

You could try typing the phonenumber where it says: "Telefonnummer" then press "Søk" and see what you get.

It´s a norwegian phone registry.

Good luck!

@volvoman: first and foremost it's because I have a tendency to forget the topics i read on my phone at night. Second, I thought perhaps I could be of any help, if you came up with some names and mate, if I wanted to see what happend, it wouldn't be much use of a bump, now would it
