You know this charger issue. I have phoned the hotline up and got them to send me new chargers and what they sent where bricks that only had ericsson written on them they come in two parts. I think it is a real cope out as my friend who also has a t610 got his charger replaced with an identical sony ericsson charger but it said made in morroco. I have asked them to send me some more chargers however still not guaranteed they will be the proper sony ericsson ones.

Vlam, I think he was given a travel charger (which is made of two parts). What he doesn't realize is the fact that the travel charger is a much better deal than the regular one.

they probably just want to empty their stock of the travel chargers, it's discontinued in production and replaced with CST-13...
since it still charge it's not a big deal

Can't see the problem with the replacement chargers my self. I have been given 2 travel chargers as replacements and I for one am quite happy. As long as they do not explode I can't see what the problem is. At least I will be able to use it abroad without a special adaptor.

My T39m came with a 2-part charger - literally, the regular charger in two parts; a 3-pin plug, and the transformer unit. I didn't like it one bit!

I have one of these and its great because mine came in a set with UK, european and australian plugs which, as you say, plug into the main part.

I stand corrected - I think this is indeed what I was supplied with....only with just the UK 3-pin plug component.
