Seeing as that thread appears to have changed title, what about this for an idea...
I want a programme which can access the MP3s on my PC (Via Bluetooth) and play them.
i.e. when I am in the lounge, I can plug my P800 into the stereo via an audio adaptor. I can then browse the tracks on my PC's hard drive, using the P800 touchscreen, and play a selection.
I'm not sure the audio quality will be that good (haven't tried it yet), but it's got to be better than old tapes.
Would this be 'easy' to programme (or is there already an application which does it?)
Cheers,
Ru'

Isn't there some sort of application out there that lets you control your PC from the P800? I think there is. You can just use that to browse through your music - not sure about the audio hookup though.

BlueTooth speed is 720kbps (uncompressed)
That's 90kb/s, with overhead and error checking you can't count on more then 80kb/s
An average quality mp3 is 128kb/s, so you see, the quality of the mp3 will have to be greatly reduced to squeeze it through a bluetooth connection.

Actually you can play mp3s in your pocket pc but with WLAN and not with bluetooth, so the p800 could play it if it had WLAN, ofcourse you can also play it now but the quality would be crap, plus I don't think anyone would be ok with being 10m far from the pc and listening to crap 50k songs
