If you have a working GPRS connection you can use the Dial-up Networking Wizard to set up an internet connection. You can start the wizard by running Phone Settings included in the SE software bundle. P.S. And it won't be slow.

You need Outlook just for synchronization, not for establishing an internet connection. Just install the communication suite and do as I told you. It works on multiple versions of windows, not just XP.

I had the same problem once. What I remember is that I clicked cancel when the install program informed me that Outlook was missing and that only cancelled the XTND installation, not MPM. This worked on older versions - just give it a try and see if it works on your version of the communication suite.

You can use
WinRAR to extract the package (.exe file). Extract it to a temporary folder. You will get 2 folders. In one folder is the installation for MPM, in the other it's XTNDConnect, in the root it's everything else. Try running those setup programs separatly.

Pack1_1.5.7.exe (or similar if you have a different version) found on
T610 Global Support Pages.
If you have WinRAR installed, you can just righ-click the .exe file, and choose "extract to..."
