Soz if this has been discussed but i couldn't find it! My replacement for my CST-13 charger has just arrived and not only is it 3 times the size and weight of the original and in different parts but it is also different electronically.
CST-13 Replacement
Input 100-240v ~ 150mA 150-240v ~ 0.13A
Output 4.9v = 450mA 5v = 0.65A
Does anyone know if this matters?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Its fine. SE would not be sending out incompatible chargers would they? The phone itself takes care of the phone charging requirements anyway with "optimised charging"

newaes, it doesnt matter. in fact, its supposed to be better, as you can use it in any country, i think.

IF it's a travel charger you can. If it's just another model Ericsson or
charger you can't use it in other countries without an adapter. However, it will charge your phone without problems.

yeah I was wondering that too. perhaps its just because its been around alot longer. I have had one since my first HBH-10 bluetooth headset.
my Sony vaio charger from this years model is also half the size of the one I had last year so I guess thats a trend.

so if you go from aust 240V to taiwan 100V
you can still use the same charger (just need the head changer to fit the power socket)
its better than the standard one you get if you just buy it in a country that's made to suit the power supply of that country only
