I've got all these blank addressbook entries in my T68i's in-phone addressbook. Every time I tried to delete them I would get a message saying "Failed".
Has anyone seen this? My real addressbook entries are unaffected. These blank entries just showed up (a whole bunch of them) just a few days ago. My firmware is R6. Weird.

Erm... now how did I fix it again??
I think I deleted the phone address book and copied it back on to the phone from my SIM card. That fixed it.

actually I recall what I did (found it in my old notes!).
I found that the blank entries were related to outlook entries that had the company name filled in but not the personal name.
I filled the personal name with the company name and resync'd and all was well.

i was just about to say that i sometimes got this when i sync'd with outlook.
but i was able to just press the c button and delete them

happened to me before...
do you have a backup w/ outlook?
make a "FORCE" synch w/ XTND & outlook w/ the settings of outlook overwriting mobile phone records.

blank entries means corrupt phonebook. if you're turning on your phone, make sure that you don't access the phonebook for about 10-15 secs after turning the phone on.
blank entries happens when you access the phonebook while reading it (it says please wait) then you happen to cancel the operation by pressing the NO button.

And remember kids, don't remove the battery to switchj the phone off; hold the off for 10 seconds or so...unless you want to run the risk of corrupting any of your data/files....

actually that would seem to be not correct in some cases.
I have been advised several times by SE techo's (not the first line customer support people) that removing the battery on the T610 while the phone is turned on causes a soft reset. You can see this soft reset when you next power on and you get an hourglass for a while while it does the reset.

Thansk fer ur brilliant comment, dear. however, when my phone freezes, holding the NO button for an hour will not change it. Frozen is frozen in my case
