Hi ...
3 months after I got my hands in my new P800, I had to send it to the SE technical assistance ...
My touch screend stop responding and the phone behaves like if no one is touching it ...
2 hours before it happens I made a full backup (lucky me...) but no sync (and thats unlucky ...!).
The SE guys tell me they'll have to update the firmware and this will kill all my important data. In this case, contacts (and messages).
I point out to questions ...:
- Is there a chance where I can restore my recent made backup into the P800 again? I wonder not, as I've read this forum posts ...
- Is there any way that I can use to get the contacts directly from the backup file? The information is ther ... There must be a way to get it out ... Even manually ...
Thanks in advance.

Thankx!
I tryed this hint before (and I got it in esato) but my winzip 9 reported an error that I relate to the file.
In fact, with winrar (or even XP zip buil-in support) I managed to open the backup file.
Now, my contacts can be alive again
