Hello all!

I have downloaded some great games from the page in the subject, but how do I install them?¿? It's a page made to the T610 - I guess you all know it..., and there I found the games "Cannons" and "Prince of Persia".
They are both rar-files and I unzip (or un-rar) them to a new directory and copy the two files (jar and jad) to my bluetooth exchangefolder. Then I connect with my phone and transfer the files to the phone. But I can only transfer the big file but not the small.
Then the phones says that the game is installed, but when you start the game, it says invalid program on the phone...

What to do?¿? Great forum by the way - very useful tips and tricks

These topics have been covered before, and I urge you to do a search here before posting.

But to answer the questions.

1) I presume you are referring to files ending .jar and .jad - the game will be in the .jar file, the .jad file is only required for downloading the file from the web/wap. It will be rejected by the phone.

2) If the game says "invalid application" - then it is not designed for your phone - sorry!

Look in my first topic in the bottumline. Just ad three w and a "." Remove the space. Insert a "." and "net"

dont take this the wrong way but why dont you just type the link out as its meant to be and esato creates a hyperlink for it then we dont have to mess about trying to work out what you mean
as i have tried www.a site.net www.asite.net and serval other variations and each time got nothing

Wow. What a strange and stupid forum board function.

I looked inside the files for Prince of Persia and it has config in there for Nokia 7250 phones. I'd guess therefore that it wasn't produced for the T610. I looked on the companies website that produced the game and they confirm this.

I could have a go at converting the game if anyone really wants me to. I have a few spare hours and a java decompiler. However I have never written any midlets before.

Can anyone recommend an IDE for doing this? Plus any further details on writing stuff for the T610?
