> Any news on new version of Camcorder app?

Up until about 2 months ago no-one believed that the P800 could be used as a Camcorder, then the first app appeared. As far as I'm aware though it is still limited to 10 seconds, no sound and recording to the phone's memory.
Does anyone know if it (or any other app from another supplier) is due out that will fix these problems?

But wasn't the app developed by Philips, not Sony? I also heard that there were other companies working on video recording apps as well, so surely they wouldn't just all throw in the towel because of pre-release gossip about a future model? If every programmer/software house thought that way we'd never get any apps!

The way things are going in the Smart phone market, as most of the Best phones will be based around the Symbian operating system, we should look at things like this,
windows is on most pc's but new pc's come out all the time but the core is still that operating system but processing power, storage space etc etc get bigger, its the same way our mobiles are going,
so just 'cause a new p810 comes out does'nt mean that software that's in developement ie camcorder is gonna be for just the new device, the core os will basically be the same.. so most software will be ok, take the 7650/3650.6600 etc all based around the symbian os...(be it updated versions) its not as if this 'p810' is gonna come out and blow the p800 out of it!! the changes will not be as great as you'd think,,
we will see in the next few weeks some more camera sotware, that will hopefully put a smile on our faces..
and if you dont believe me, just before the Camcoder was leaked i stated in several posts it was gonna happen...
