Just want to know if any of you found a way to adjust the volume of the SMS alert tones in our beloved P800. I have been using some cool wav tones but sometimes it can be distractingly loud, esp in the office
btw, before you begin, pls dont ask me to

One rude way to do it is to change loudness of the wav on the pc and save it on the mobile.

Use the little Volume icon to the bottom right of the P800 screen - cunningly labelled Multimedia Volume...

the volume of the SMS alert is directly propotional to the volume of ur sound ringtone, i,e if u increase ur volume of ringer to max sms becomes max as well!

and what about if you're using your max volume 'cause of midis sounds ok with that but SMS Kills anyone ears?
I mean, what about having independent volumes?

nopes cant do it individually in p800 i had similar problems but the only solution to it is that u encode ur own sms tones in a higher pitch than normal and then play it on the phone....
