please help !
ive been trying to get my phone working via IR on the MA600 in windows 2000 for days now without success and have tried every google type search not finding the answer ....
my pc picks up my phone and says its in range in toolbar .
i open the phone manager for the t68 , and it says "trying to connect to handset / AT + CPMS command failed" .
it used to work in w98 , and my pc is seeeing it thru IR/com port 1 , but it just doesnt seem to want to sync to phone manager .
any solutions before i take a feckin big hammer to it , and go and buy a usb one or something !!

its a bit like this previous post :
i've already tried the following measures:
1.) uninstalled/re-installed making sure that all components (mobile modem settings, communications suite, etc.) have been completely uninstalled before re-installing, but same thing happens;
2.) lowered baud rate of ma-600 --> same effect, i've even tried re-starting the pc each time i lower the baud rate a notch, no diff;
