I have the same problem also with my P800 and softhome.net. I've set up the messaging account per the website instructions/settings but I can only receive, not send emails. Odd thing is I've checked my mobile's settings against my Outlook settings and they're identical; no prblems send/receive with Outlook though! Anyone have suggestions/solutions? Checked using search and no one seems to have addressed this previously. My P800 tabs/settings are as follows:

Basic tab- Account name :softhome
Your name: myname
Email address: myname@softhome.net
Connection type: POP3
Internet account: GPRS Net

Inbox tab- Username: myname@softhome.net
Passwork: *********
Inc server add: mail.softhome.net

Outbox tab- Outg server add: mail.softhome.net
Use SMTP auth, checked
Use inbox login details, checked

Advanced tab- Secure connection, unchecked (China Mobile doesn't allow secure connections)
Outgoing mail port: 25 (but I've tried 2500 & 25000)
Use MIME encoding, checked
Incoming mail port: 110
Secure password authentication, unchecked (again, because of China Mobile)

Again, this is only an issue with sending email, not receiving.

And while I'm here, has anyone ever had a problem sending anemail to softhome using a Chinese portal? I have a secondary POP3 account with a Chinese server and every test message I've tried to send to my softhome address gets rejected when I send from my P800.

Cheers, ppl.
