There is something I want to know about listening to music on a T610. I converted a MP3 to a 16 Bit 8Khz WAV-file and from there I converted the WAV to AMR. I sent the AMR to my phone and I could listen to it on my phone. (So in some way you can use your T610 as a MP3 player, but the quality is not the best) A song is just 100KB, so you can put maybe even 10 songs on there (depending on your amount of free space). But the question I have is that with for instance the HPR-20, is it possible to listen to the songs through my headset??

Yeah, it's with singing, it's just a normal MP3 song. AMR is the format most (maybe all, I don't know for sure) phones use for their voicememo's. So you make your song a voicememo and in my opnion it sounds ok on my T610 to listen to.
They appear in your My Sounds folder.

The quality is not the best?! You gotta be kidding me. The quality is so bad you can barely recognize the song. I've done this test a long time ago as described
here. AMR is only any good for voice. It's not ment for the wide frequency range used by music...

lol also.. what kind of song can u fit on ur T610? i mean usually mp3s are 3-5mb, if converted to wav..they will be like 40mb? or something? hmm unless AMR is the greatest digital sound compressing format ever, ive no idea how u could have a song at 100kb.

Well the quality also depends on the program you use. I use Cool Edit Pro to convert it to WAV and then reduce the noise with some filters. They sound ok on my phone, trust me hahaha.
I know WAV normally is much larger than MP3, but that's when you don't change the quality settings. You can only convert WAV to AMR if the WAV file is 16 Bits and 8Khz. The WAV file in that format is even smaller than the MP3. And the AMR converter does the final trick. But I have to say, I was wrong about the size of 100Kb, cause that was not a long song. A song of 5 minutes is 300Kb.
