i am in france and i need the settings from my sfr operator.They know dick, as usual, and allthough i am familliar with the usual operations i cant get the settings from them..still talking to customer service everyday(15 cents a minute) and everyday they find all kinds of excuses and (wrong) solutions..can u imagine? The last problem is that everytime i try to acces the wap, to send mms or email thru the email client i get " wrong APN !" with the settings done by the book WITH an SFR operator!!!Whatta hell is happening cuz they dont know! Is that possible to get the automatic settings and still not working?Can it be a soft bug or something?
PS: even when they sent the MMS setting thru OTA (over the air installment, done automaticlly) is NOT working! wrong APN its says,as usual!
I am going crazy with this guys cuz all i ever wanted is to b able to send emails with pic attachments! i have 2 options (email client and/or mms) and none is working!

@701
Can it be possible that you do get the right OTA settings but not chosen correctly on your T610 ? Just in case, normally, to send an MMS, you must select the MMS profile in your WAP profiles. To send an e-mail, you must have the INTERNET profile chosen. Even if you have the right settings sent to you OTA, but have not chosen them, it is possible that this is the reason why it gives you the error it indicates.
If you are sure that you have chosen the right setting for the service that you want (i.e., MMS for MMS, INTERNET for e-mail and GPRS for WAP GPRS), try to refresh the system by turning your phone OFF FOR AT LEAST 20 minutes then turn the phone ON again.
Do you have these settings available ? It will be helpful also if you can indicate what settings (Data Com Accounts) are available to you.
Hope this helps. Cheers !!!

Sorry that my suggestion did not work. I hope that you can finally get EVERYTHING on your phone to work. E-Mail is good but try to make sure that your provider helps you in making everything work including MMS and WAP. This is supposed to be a service they provide and you should not be "short-changed" considering that you have invested not only on your phone but also on their service.
Good luck and keep your posts current because there might be others who can learn from your problems.
Cheers !!!

@ben: hi. yes, tried that too but they just divert u to sfr homepage and its just the same thing. i think i know what the problem is but i just cant test it as i dont have another MMS phone.I will just put my sim in another mms phone,install the settings and if its working that means my t610 has a soft problem. Cuz i think there is a soft prob as i once installed the email client ( no connection between e-client and mms, i know) and it didnt work! Everything was done by the book with a sfr operator and the APN was not correct the phone said.checked the apn again, was the one they have but my phone doesnt recognise it ..so i think its the soft.Any ideeas?
