Hi all,

I have seen a webshop offering the T230 and Z600 with delivery
in Q4. What is interesting is the pricing.

Note: there is some errors, it calls the T230 the Z320 and of course the pricing may change before actual release, but it gives us an idea of the price point without a subscription to an operator.

It is a Swedish site, but here are the direct links to the two products:

T230, note 2995Kr = 331 EUR

Z600, note 3299Kr = 365 EUR

No sign of the Z200.

My feeling is that the price of the Z600 is too low, I would expect it to be around 4100 to 4200 Kr (454 to 464 EUR) at release (same price as the T610 was at release in Webshops in Sweden).

It is quite possible they have mixed up the Z600 and Z200 pricing (my guess based on fact that Z200 is missing, they call the T230 Z320 and that my feeling that their Z600 price is too low).

Anyway, I have ordered it at that price, we will see if I get it

The Z200 is on the next page, listed at 4495 Kr (497 EUR).

It is safe to assume they have mixed up the Z600 and Z200 pricing.

Which would give:
T230 = 2995 Kr (331 EUR)
Z200 = 3299 Kr (365 EUR)
Z600 = 4496 Kr = (497 EUR)

its only a little more than the T610 was when it came out. I got my first T610 in Stockholm the first week it was available and that was 4000 SEK but the prices came down quickly.

This is only the first price we've seen so perhaps we will see better yet.

just thought I would follow up on some of the comments.

These prices are fairly typical of pre-release pricing.
Shops who put prices on non-released products typically put in a "risk factor" and anyway, it makes them look good when they drop the price a week after release

The T610 was 4200 to 4500 SEK also when it was released. It dropped quickly and today is around 3600 SEK in Swedish Web shops (around 3800 in high street shops).

Pre-release pricing is intersting because it put a concrete price range.

Within 1 to 2 weeks of release, I predict (well OK, guess

Z600 just over 4000 SEK mark (about 440 EUR)
Z200 just under 3000 SEK mark (about 330 EUR)
T320 around 2700 SEK mark (about 300 EUR)

Within 1 to 2 months of release I wildly speculate

Z600 around 3700 SEK mark (about 410 EUR)
Z200 2700 SEK mark (about 300 EUR)
T320 around 2300 SEK mark (about 250 EUR)

Its a lot of guess work right now, dangerous as it is based only on one pre-release pricing in a Web shop, but Webhallen are one of the better (Swedish) web shops and this trend I describe is consistent with other releases.

Of course what it will be on contract is wide open for speculation. Some SE phones were poorly discounted by operators, but the T610 was available on contracts for 1 SEK (10 cents) very quickly.

Depends on how well SE have marketed these phones to the operators :-0

If its still now on the website with you think are the wrong prices order one. The must deliver it for that price! Their fault! (except if they have on the website saying: we're able to change prices)
