Hi and welcome,

you have to configure the phone to use gprs, here is an automated configuration from

And sorry but for the "getting started tips" I think that you will have to use the search for that beacause we don't know what your looking for ...

hi

thanks for link Jim very useful,

i know i should have been more specific about 'getting started' tips but iwas wondering if there are any must do things when you first get the t68i, maybe when i get the phone on monday and play around a little i will be able to give a more specific description of any quirks or annoyances that i may have

again thanks

Hmmm well I had the T68i (and still have as a backup) and I must say it's a very good phone, excellent built quality.

- One thing you can do before configuring the phone is to make the 13s trick if you think that you don't have enough memory or you want to delete the predefinid items ... From the many many many thread and posts, it is save and it works.

- You can also upgrade the software of the phone if you want some new improvements.

- For now that's all that I can think about ... it's getting late here(11:48pm) so if tomorrow I come with new ideas I will post them here.

Cheers

You should give the thread called 'i did something naughty today' a look out. Its about the hobby me bluejacking. Its now very long indeed and will maybe take a few days to read. This message was posted from a T610

No offense to anyone with a T68i but why are people still purchasing that phone? Is it because it's a bit more inexpensive then a colour screen phone? That phone is discontinued for the two companies that I retail for.

first thing i'd do is delete all the preset images in the phone.

you can go through the background pics on Esato and choose your favouries then when you login via wap you'll have them pre-chosen for download.

@drag. As the other user above pointed out. The t68i is still one of the best value phones around. No ebay you can get a new one for around £80. The old n3310 is still selling here for £60. Why no earth that is still around i do not know. You can get cheaper phones that are lighter and have more features than txt and calls. This message was posted from a T610
