> help my T610 suddenly turned off

my phone has been working without any problems since i bought it, but today its just dies and reboots when im makeing a call, and when i left it on the table, its suddenly shuts off and restarts, as if the battery was empty, but its not!
whats happening?

Mine used to do that but it cleared up after a while, also has anyone noticed that the phone hangs if you receive a text message while the screensaver is on.

dana, not sure about you're problem but davebem, you're problem is related to the original firmware R1A and is fixed in the current firmware R1L so you should go and get it upgraded at yourlocal sony ericsson service centre.

You might want to check the firmware version.
With old firmware there is a known issue of the phone "freezing" for 30 seconds when a text message is received when the screen saver is active.

I think this is with mostly all T610s. I would find sometimes my phone on the PIN screen(meaning it was restarted by itself) and then when i get to the wallpaper it just hangs and i have to remove the cover to get it back to normal.
This has happened to me between 5-8 times since I upgraded my phone to R1L which was 2-3 months ago.

Mine occassionaly reboots when viewing Wap pages, hopefully a firmware flash will do the job.
