Hey Guys,

Thought I would ask you gurus out there a simple ?(hopefully )
I just got a T616 and was wondering is there a way to do a complete backup of the phone to a file on your PC so if you were to ever lose the phone you can do a complete restore to your new phone with all setings the way they were? I used to have a Motorola phone that you could do this with and it was pretty easy, it was like imaging your phone. I currently have a bluetooth adapter on my PC and can backup pics and ringtones through the public folder but I want to backup the complete phone with all settings, games, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if that's possible to do in one hit. I back all my contacts and diary events by synching with Microsoft Outlook. These to me are the most important things to back up. You're backing the photos and sounds up all ready which is good. Maybe you should also copy the themes and games over to a folder on your PC too.

Thanks for the reply:-) The only problem is that all though I can backup themes, sounds, and pics via bluetooth there is no way that I found to backup games:-( They dont show up in the public folder when connected via blutooth(even themes dont show up they have to be sent from the phone to the PC). Suppose you purchase many games on a phone and then lose the phone? Are you screwed? I also wish that someone out there made a program to backup the whole phone including settings, oh well. What bugs me out was this was a feature like I said on a Motorola I had like a year and a 1/2 ago, arent we suppose to advance in what technology can do not revert lol. Well hopefully someone will make a program someday and thank for your help.

Take a look at phonebackup from http://www.christersson.org/software.php

Its not fully T610 compatible yet but many people claim success.

In regards to games, you would hope that any place you buy them from would allow re-download capability for the circumstances you describe.
