You cannot access a pop server using a WAP only APN.

Therefore you need to select (and have enabled) whatever O2's internet connection profile is called

1. enter server names as IP address's.....open a dos window, type "ping yourserver.name.com" hit Return....use the numbers 123.321.123.321 instead of the written name.

2. try using o2's wap dial up.

report back 2 let us know.

I can only access O2 email accounts via GPRS but if I use the dial up no for Lineone (Tiscali) I can access any of my email accounts. I think it may be the O2 server that is preventing it.

Ok here is my situation now

I changed my connect using to my Blueyonder Dial Up number,

Now i get a wrong mailbox/username error.

The only problem is that ive checked the settings and they are all right!

Will have a play round later, there are 2 servers. One for PC's/Macs and one for UNIX users, anyone know which one to use???

Cheers again

You have entered just the part before the '@' sign for your username, right? You shouldn't enter the entire address. Note in some rare cases your actual username has nothing in common with you address.

HI, [t610]

Tried entering IP address for servers, but they are still not found!
I'm trying to access tiscali, anybody use tiscali mail. I think i will have a problem with my mailbox also as in tiscali the mail box is your email address, and my t610 wont let me enter the @ sign in the mailbox field!
