Dropped my P800 in the bath two weeks ago and it still works fine.

1. How did your P800 end-up near your bath in the first place
1.5 How emersed was it? When I dropped by Rex6000 (credit card sized PDA) in a bucket of water it died. Water got between the glass and the display.
2. What did you do to help it recover - kiss of life etc

It was in the bath for about 1 or 2 secs. Put on top of my boiler for about 8 hours to dry through. Then lt started working again. Bought some circuit board cleaner clean the circuit board.

you are so lucky !! Was tere a lot of water in the bath?
I also herad other cases of other people that dropped their mobile phones in water and also worked fine for them but wasn't a P800...

Yeah the batn was full.
I also dropped my Nokia 8310 in the toilet about 8 months ago and that was fine too. Just changed the casing. Sold it 6 months later.
