well i went though the faq again and they just added this
Will it be possible to have my T68 converted?
It will be possible to convert your phone from week 20.
Will not be applicable in all Markets.
Please contact your nearest Service Location.
just thought you would be interested
p.s oh want to clarify not the due date that is old news but not being applicable in all markets so that means so places we have to wait longer how if it's upload to emma doesn't every service have access to it

maybe they mean that other versions, e.g. the T68mc, will not be able to be updated. i have a T68m which i bought in hong kong, and when i asked here about updating the software (not to the MMS version, but just updating in general), and told them i had bought the phone in hong kong, the first thing they said was that if it was a T68mc, i wouldn't be able to get it updated at all... so maybe that's what they mean: not applicable to (asian?) markets (i.e. where they have the T68mc)... this is just a guess though.

i wasn't trying to scare anyone, just offering my input based on what i was told here by ericsson. of course, everyone who reads posts on this forum knows that one person can be told one thing by one SE representative, and someone else can be told something very different... i was just guessing...

yup, that's right. t68mc can input chinese but no t9. over here in the philippines those people who bought the t68mc have their unit upgraded, after upgrade they don't have the chinese input anymore but have the english t9. well, most people here don't need the chinese input anyway.
