Hello all,
yesterday my T66 got stuck on the "sending message" screen for 4 hours. Then it went blank with the light flickering for another 4 and then completely died. I can't turn it back on.
Anyone ever hear of this?
The phone is only 5 weeks old.

If I were you... I'd
run back to the store!

No matter what the problem... it is not supposed to do that. Have it exchanged!

The question is why the hell you let it stay on the sending message screen for 4 hours and then with lights flashing for another 4 hours!!!????
But like the previous post, just take it back to where you bought it from.
P.S. The next time your phone does something weird like that restart it immediately or take out the battery for a few minutes.

Well, I am not THAT stupid. The phone was not responding to any of the keys, so could not be turned off. And I don't know if you have a T66 but they are the hardest phone in the world to open and it felt like it was going to break. When I did get it open, I removed the battery and then replaced it. The phone would not turn off.
The final tragic piece of the story is that I bought the phone in New York and am not back in Dublin!

Oh no!!
Erm.... contact

see if they can help you.
However..... I'm pretty sure you'll ony have warranty in the US.... so unless you go back there soon (or know some1 who does) I thinnk you're in trouble
In the meantime.... leave the battery out overnight... just in case.
Sorry I really can't think of anything that would help you?
