Yesterday I was doing a little house cleaning on the ol P800.
I 'moved' some apps and games from the d drive to the c drive; sys;apps.
Then, later, when I went to check my SMS's they'd dissapeared :-0
Any ideas good people why this happened (I swear I didnt delete a thing!)

Did you happen to put another sim card in the phone? although I can't actually remember if the P800 behaves like other SE phones in that when you put another sim card in your lose your text messages.

P800 leaves ur sms alone taken that they are stored on the phone and not on ur sim so all sms on the phone will not be deleted with a simswap

T68/T68i/T610 etc store text messages on phone too but they are lost when you put another SIM in. Its been too long since I had a P800 that I can't recall if it has this behaviour too.

I think p8 has default storing on the phone i have never lost a sms on my p8 and i swap around atleast 5 different sims every now and then

Nope. No sim card swaps were done.
The only thing i done was move Handysafe and Mobile Othello (great game) from the d drive to the c drive. Nothing more and nothing less.
