I install Psiloc Total irRemote into my P800, but no luck, I can't
manage to control the TV, HI FI etc. Any idea ?

What need to configure before can start using P800 as remote
control ?

Just be maximum 2 meter away of the device and right in front of it ... lollll

It is just a stupid and useless program....

Mate, I would strongly suggest that you do not waste your time trying to operate your tv / hi fi with Total IR - It is a Total waste of time.

Instead, just go and buy yourself an All in 1 remote from the shops.

With total IR you pretty much have to be sat a few millimetres away from the tv or hi fi in order for it to work - and that pretty much defeats the whole purpose of having a remote control!!!

dunt know about any1 else but the latest version that allows you to dld profiles is pants too... and when you finally install a new profile (pretty damn tricky) it never works.

if it frikin worked this app would really be useful.. even though u are limited by such a short IR range.... shame really.

It usually works for me, but with mixed results. I have a Sony TV, which I can operate with the software from quite a distnace away (well about 2 metres), yet another TV in another room, a Sanyo, needs me to be almost at the set for it to work!
It is no way a replacement for a good remote control, but it is a great party piece (if your party happens to be outside a Dixons in the middle of a shopping centre as you turn the volume up sky high on their Tvs in the window )

I find it quite useful. My 3650 operates any TV or VCR of the brands it has from about 2.5 meters or less.

Does the P800 Ir port have less power maybe?

by the way, should I turn on the Infrared from my P800 ? When
I turn on, and then the Total irRemote, the software ask me to turn
off. After turn it off, I can run the software, but just wonder how
P800 communicate with my TV set without Infrared ?

Please advice. Thansks.
