its done this too many times now! I want a phone that doesn't randomly turn off, and refuse to turn on with lots of turning on/off/battery removing until something corrupts and it formats itself, or a trip to the local SE centre. If its all the same to SE, i'd prefer not to lose all my data on a near monthly-basis..
Am I alone in this? Or do other people suffer my intolerable Fate.. I'm probably gonna sell-up and get a T610, or whatever the latest and greatest T610-a-like is now a days (what is it?)
cheers. woz.

Sounds like you have a suspect P800 as mine shows none of the symptoms you mentioned. I know how annoying a "monday morning" or a "friday afternoon" product can be though and you have my sympathy.

@ProviGuy
thats very true! we say all that about bike frames. If your race bike is built on a monday morning after a long weekend it will break! Or a Friday afternoon after the long week it will snap!
You phone was built on one of these times!

sometimes it's the user's fault that a device is not functioning well ... if you still hate your p800 you can give it to me
you should also consider upgrading the firmware because it might fix some problems.

Respect your phone - get the latest firmware. Install good quality apps and you'll live happily together...

From the vast majority of P800 users i come accross, it seems the device is NOT buggy, or unreliable by default, it should behave well on all versions, most phones that are "cured" by a firmware upgrade are in fact working properly simply because all the junk thats acumilated (hidden unwanted filess ETC) has been flushed out.

Mine also hangs if I ever have a call waiting and try to "release and switch" (option 3). I have to take the battery out to get my phone back.
Now I live in the US and we can't get firmware upgrades from SE, so I figure I have to complain and send it in.
Maybe they'll upgrade it...
