I know this place is for P800 tech stuff but I was wondering if anyone can help....
I own a nokia 3650 that I have bought brand new from kuwait. I live in the U.S. and just got a line with T-Mobile. I put the SIM card from T-Mobile into the phone but for some reason the phone would not load completly and will freeze up with the screen and keypad lights on. pressing buttons will not do anything. when I stick a friends AT&T SIM card in, it works fine... Whats going on? I would appreciate any help on this matter, I am annoyed since I really want to use my phone. the phone also had a SIM card from kuwait in it and worked perfectly.
please post any thoughts on what could be the problem and how I could fix it, thanks!

wouldnt it be funny if the phone was stolen in the US barred on t-mobile's network and sent to kuwait to sell it? if not unlocking not done properly is my guess... anybody else???

uhhh...well it would actually be more realistic if it was the other way around since parts of africa and the middle east get new phones waaaaaaaaaay before the u.s. ever does... and plus they have more advanced networks all done through satalites and not through towers that are spread all over the country.

Is it at all possible that the T Mobile network and your phone are not compatible (I know it happened over here with T Mobile and T68i).
Does the phone wrok with other Us SIM cards??
