But it took it like a champ! Hell, it actually feels more solid after the drop than it did before. Kudos to SE's design/quality. Does anyone else have a "drop" story?

I dropped my T68M once onto tarmac, small scratch and then onto a sharp corner of a pc case, another scratch but nothing serious.
Dropped my old t28, the flip sent it flying but perfectly intact.

Got me new T610 in the morn. Went round me mum & dad’s, showed me mum me new phone and she dropt the f**cking thing, it hit the corner of the concrete flower bed then dropped the other 2 half feet to the concrete floor, small dent in the battery cover and a couple of scratches on the back plastic next to the camera, not to bad but only had it an hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Two days after getting my P800 a brother in law took it to look at it, & dropped it, the Duo, stylus came off, it looked terminal, but no damage was done & its worked for 8 more happy months, i had a banana milkshake earlier, anyone else got any Milk based drink stories.

My T65 was used on a building site for 4 months so it got all the wear and tear that comes with that (dust, small drops/hits, generally dirty environment etc.) but it's main drops were once off some scaffolding where it fell onto some hard compacted soil and lived, and once off a dumper-truck where it took a real knock onto the dumper's metal floor and then onto the stone track underneath - it also survived this with no problems. It never even got scratched as it was in a leather case all the time.
It was also left on top of the scaffolding one night in a heavy thunderstorm, but after a couple of hours near a heater the next day it worked as good as new! Apart from a few bugs in the software (that I probably could have fixed with an upgrade) my T65 was a pretty good little phone actually.

@N.M.E. I guess it's a cool story, because now I have paid double for practically the same phone. I still have the pieces at my store in a box after looking like a pathetic fool in front of a busy street picking up the remainder of my beautiful phone. Rest In Peace lovely T610. At least now I have a extra battery for my T618.
