hey there ive checked the faq section of the board for the access to find out how to figure out what version on the software u have, i cant get to it, can sum1 please tell me u access the service menu and check out what R1L thingie u have, if thats correct sorry to ask this but i want to know how to find out then how to upgrade and what are the benefits, thanks,

ok thanks, but i still cant get it, when i press right i go into the main screen with games etc, then when i press * i go into connectivity, then when i press left again nuthing happens, then left again nuthing happpens when i press * again nuthing happens, can u tell me the menus to go in via, i think my joystick thing isnt the same as urs, thanks,

and i did search for it, it just never worked that way, thats why i asked for help, sorry for any inconvience,

From standby just do the instructions dont worry whats on the screen while you do it.

I only get it to work from the desktop

so go to the desktop
right, *, left, left, *, left, *
then go to service info
SW information
