Well what about a comparison from these specs of the p810?

http://www.clubsonyericsson.com/en/products_p810.htm

and check this out for the xda 2

http://www.infosyncworld.com/news/n/4066.html

i mean the xda2 looks pretty damn good apart from the camera if the p810 has 1.3 meg pixel cam. the only downside i can see is no keyboard and that its running PPC...

Actually neither of them are out yet. (As far as I know). I have a p800. I think it is a pretty cool device. Very dissapointed with the quailty and quantity of apps. I am still looking for a Quality app with loads of features and functions. Thats why I am moving to the XDA II. I didnt like the xda I very much cos it seemed bulky. But now with the added features of the XDA II I think I will make the change. As for the p810.. well I think this is how the p800 should have been. They should have really added more features to the p810 because it is really so similar tot he p800 is it really worth the change.
p810 should have had faster processor, more memory, better camera (flash perhaps).
The only improvements that I noticed were better screen, newer software, better case, proper keypad.
Sorry SE, this just doesnt cut it for me. INFACT i am pretty upset. How can you bring out an updated model with almost the same spec as a previuos model. If the p810 however was vastly upgraded to the p800 I would have no prob in getting it. But. what a shame

Well...... ,aybe what you ant cannot currently be compressed into one device??

however.... the wasy I see it, the P810 is not aimed ay pl who already have a P800. It is aimed at the rest of us, to convert us to use a phone-pda

The p810 will be a phone that also has PDA whereas the XDA 2 is a PDA that is also a phone. It is up to you what you want to buy. I guess the XDA would be bigger and I wouldn't really want to take it out to the pub in my pocket but I can imagine it would be great for business use.

Why not just sit back, relax, and wait patiently for them both to be officially released, then we can all compare them based on the final finished versions. i've never been patriotic to any one manufacturer myself and whichever device suits my needs i will buy it, be it SE, Nokia, Siemans, Xelibri, Nec or any other manufacturers that you can think of no matter how obscure their name is. This message was posted from a P800
