> PC Link Software crashes Explorer

From time to time, always when I have my phone linked via USB and the PC software enabled, I get the Windows XP error message... 'Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close...'. After sending the usual error message to Microsoft, Explorer re-starts, minus the P800 link. Re-boot and all is OK again, maybe for a day or 2. Any ideas anyone? I'm not usually doing anything with the software, it's just conected.

Well that does of course work but only until you connect the thing to backup or synch. Once started the thing sits in your systray until re-boot as the only way to stop it apart from a re-boot is to stop it connecting via it's usual Com port via 'properties'. That works too of course but it's a bit messy. Still, if that's all there is? I was never very impressed with the old Psiwin software except for the final version 2.3.3. You'd think Symbian would have this cracked by now.
