*sigh*

ok - if you read on in the thread that SPC pointed out you'll find out that my conclusion is that MS Duo Pros will work in the P800.

This is because the dark blue 128 and 64 sticks are essentially Duo Pro sticks.

They operate in paralell and serial mode, and in the right drive, are 5x faster. Whether or not the P800 actually has a Duo Pro drive we do not really know. However I'm fairly certain that if Sony is replacing the 128 and 64MB regular sticks with ones that use Pro technology, that the P800, and anything else out there that uses the Duo, is ready to take Duo Pro.

This is my logical conclusion - we'll just have to see if it's right!

Hmmm - It seems I stand corrected (and this will teach me to quote 'off the top of my head')!!

@spc,

TBH, I don't think anyone's right or wrong at the moment - my conclusion is just based upon all the evidence I can see, I could still be wrong. Other people have their opinions too (they're just not as thought out as mine! )

SE says duo pro will NOT work, in a official mail you get when you ask it.
And i did get the same answer from an official at a sony event in Paris, He says it is at the moment not compatible, maybe with an upgrade, but nothing is planned in a near future...
