my new t68i occasionally switches off in standby.is there anybody haveing the same problem and is there any solution.

Its known that if the NO key is pressed for 10 to 15 seconds while, say, in your pocket then this can happen.

How old is your SIM card? I had a SIM card that was 18 months old, and had been swapped around a bit, and gave me this kind of problem. A new SIM (FOC from my sp) fixed the problem.

yes i know that it goes off when pressing the 'no' key even when it's locked but i believe that's not the reason It shwithes off even sitting on the table:)
I was told that may be the battery has not reached its maximum capacity.

I've now had four t68i's don't ask! I experinced this fault with the earlier two but not the latter. I don't know anything about firmware, but could there have been a problem in the earlier versions?! Although being a new phone you would assume its got current versions?!

that happened to me. when i brought it our service center here, they told me that the mother board gave up. its a good thing that the phone was still under warranty. they replaced it with a new phone. have it check before its too late.

I just got a new T68i since I drowned my last one (don't ask). This new one has the R7A firmware, and it seems to reset itself every so often. I think it's only shut off on my once, and even then it was in my pocket so it could've gotten bumped. This resetting thing seems kind of strange to me though. I didn't have that problem with my last one.
