hi, if i wuna ugprade the firmware on my t610, do i go to sonyericssonserver.com and pay for the firmware then i use a t28 cable to upgrade the firmware on my fone ? will this save my going to the service centres and waiting for it to be updated ?
any advice appreciated?

The t28 cable won't upgrade upgrade the ARM part of the software. I think you need a modified cable or a dongle to do this.
