i've been looking at buying the t610 on orange PAYG abd found this site (http://www. mobilesuk .net) to be the cheapest. The only thing is, after reading they're messageboard finding this:-
"this web site said it is locked to orange but when unlocked it will void to sony warranty but that is all. But first hand experience would be useful from any one? Thanks"
Is this true, or is it total b******s?
Ideally i will use my orange sim at first but then will want to use my O2 sim. I don't mind paying orange to provide me the unlocking code as long as my warranty is still intact??

ring orange care and ask them. They will know best. or maybe an orange employee from here on esato.
I think it will be ok if you get orange to unlock the phone. The void bit only comes into playing if you go to a small backstreet or market man to get it unlocked.

Hi. Sorry. Can I just add quickly, where is the cheapest place at the moment to buy the T610 on contract in the UK? Which provider should I go with? Sorry, I'm new to the UK. I didn't feel worthy enough to start a new thread about this.

Orange have it free on contract and £32.99 on upgrade. You're not going to get any cheaper unless they give you money...

So I just buy from the Orange website, and that is where the best deals are at?
Thanks.
