from Hong Kong, (well my mom anywayz) well the first thing I looked for was the charger, and it was made in Thailand by Delta!! I dont' know what I should do, I live in Canada so there's no Sony Ericsson Stores anywhere. Is the faulty charger only affective in Europe?

I'd either contact SE and ask them what your options are given your situation, or just buy a thrid party charger off the net to replace the delta one. They can't be that much money?

Yeah, I guess I'll do that, I was planning on using a universal charger with the Delta one, because maybe the volts would be differnt.... Just a guess. But I'll contact SE indeed. THanks!

I think that the CST-13 charger made by Delta (Thailand) in general, is faulty. I suggest that you take the extra precaution as I believe that despite the recall stating that it affects 3-pin UK chargers, it really did not say that it affects ONLY the ones in the UK. It says that they have "found" in the UK these chargers.
It is in my opinion that the faulty chargers are generally the stated type and manufacturer considering that the only difference is the socket pins and not what is inside.
Contact your nearest SE center from your location. Do a search in SE site to get the nearest location.
Finally, if you intend to use a third-party replacement, don't just look at the voltage - LOOK ALSO AT THE AMPERES. The amperage should be 450mA (milliamperes). If you get something higher or lower, you will end up damaging your phone.

I also looked on various SE sites globally including Hong Kong and there is no visible mention of the CST-13 problem or pop-up page like that which is displayed when you go to the
UK SE site.
Also the
CST-13 global support page makes no mention of a global problem
But if it provides comfort factor it is of course worth double checking with your local SE customer care.

the fact that you live in canada is that you will never have the same charger as we europeans because it requires another kind of pins. unless you had the travel charger ctr-10 which can be fitted on any plug in the world.
so you have the cst-13, that's the standard charger for every t610 in europe.
i suggest you ask in some stores if they can directly order original SE chargers and buy them there. i recommen the CTR-10 as, this one works anywhere in the wordl

IS a fact that only UK 3 pin chargers were affected. One whole batch.
As canada not only has different pins but also different voltage, it is impossible for your charger to be part of that specific defective batch.
