all of the free storage is available for the

Thanks for this great information!
However, in T610 R1A, while the picture size is still around 20KB, it still uses up to around 60KB in the phone memory for the "faster processing" reason.
Are the pictures taken by built-in cameras of T610 and Z600 really just use ~20KB phone memory with the new firmwares? (That means users can store up to 100 photos in the phone memory)
Thanks!

easy way to find out is press "c" when on a pix and it give the full amount of space used in the phone

In R3B, the new pictures (taken with the inbuilt camera) take up exactly 19kb. The old ones still take up 48kb. I will check how the pics are transfered when I get home in a couple of hours...

@wrath000
OH!!!!!!!!! IT IS WONDERFUL!!!
Finally Sony Ericsson solved the problem (is it really a problem or just a "design" by them?) which really makes user happy.
How many photos can you save in the phone now? It is possible to store up to 100 photos now right? Thanks again

I havn't checked if this applies to pictures not taken with the camera yet. I will do it later today.
19kb picture x 100 = 1900kb -> If you got nothing but pictures, you should be able to get enough room for 100
