> camera not working on t610

i have a strange problem with my t610 which was delivered this morning... i cannot get the camera to work, whether i enter it from the main menu or by using the button on the side. all other menus work correctly, but when i select the camera nothing happens.
ive tried a quick search but couldnt find anything about this. i must be missing something obvious right?

me and my partner got our t610s in August. his camera was faulty in that he could take pictures but then it wouldn't give the option to save/discard them - and would just resort back to "take picture" mode. we just went back to carphone warehouse next day and they changed if for new one - no problems.

nothing! if i select the camera icon on the main menu the word select at the bottom left 'indents' as it does when choosing any icon but no further menu appears. when i press the camera button on the side nothing happens at all. I cant 'add camera picture' in the picture messenging window either.
i think i need a replacement, at least im not going mad.
