Lolllllllllllllll no.. why should it be? there is no memory on a battery.... didn't ever take it off maybe? to change the sim card for example?

in other cell phones, when you remove the battery to change the sim, some stored messages are deleted. i just want to make sure since there are times that the battery gets dangerously low or left to drain. Is it advisable to fully drain the battery? How often?

You won't lose things save don your phone is you remove the battery, at least it has never happened to me.
As for losing unsaved data on a pc, well that is because it is stored in RAM until it is saved. Things like messages, contacts, etc on the P800 are written to the internal memory once you elect to save them, therefore a loss in power won't do very much to them. A powerful elctro-magnet is another story ...

All your data is saved on the phone or in the memory card.
If you change the sim you won't be able to see sim-saved messages and sim-saved agenda.
