My phone has two operator logos... whats up with that?
The top line on the display says FIDO
Underneath, it says FIDO again.
Unlocked T68i... I cant understand why its doing this. Really interferes with a lot of cool backgrounds. ANy idea as to how I can change it so that one operator logo is shown?

I'm sorry but that is total rubbish and it would seem that you have no understanding of how GSM works.
At any given time the handset can be monitoring up to 16 nearby cells and every second it reports these back to the base station controller which can decide when to switch cells.
At the time the base station controller decides to switch your active cell (based on various factors as well as signal strength) it is virtually instantaneous.
So there is no concept of being between two cells as you describe it because in fact you are between many cells but only ever connected to one except for the milliseconds handover.

On my side, I think this "problem" comes from your SIM card... I had this problem once on a T68m(i) too and I asked my provider. They answered me it was their new cards and they couldn't do anything about it.

perhaps you would like to explain more about your 'between two cells' concept of how this causes two operator logos instead of trying to make a clever reply?
btw. I wouldn't touch 3G if you paid me, not for a year or two anyway

On a recent trip to Holland my phone was roaming between networks and not once did I notice it having two operator logos on the screen at once.
