i goto their site and tell it to send me the gprs settings and email settinsg and everything i need
but nothing gets sent

hmmmmmm..im with optus tho..never been with any other network..i got my settings sent by SMS by the telephone operators..i just called them up and tell them that i want the settings for GPRS/WAP and a few minutes later it came..but i had to do it twice cuz the first time it didnt work..
sometimes if ur mailbox is full..they wont resend it..cuz apparently mine was full and the email bounced back..they dont do anything after that..you will have to ask for the setting again

are you on optus prepaid or a plan? because i used to be with optus prepaid but went with vodafone because optus prepaid doesnt do gprs and that sort of thing or so ive heard
on an optus plan you can get gprs and everything but i cant go on a plan because i dont have a credit card and cant afford to get one another stupid problem im so pissed off about this phone i mean i love the phone, its just all the other problems ive had surrounding it

i just bought a t610 and i had problems with the vodafone website too. in the end i gave up and called vodafone to get them to send out the details. off memory i think it is 1300 30 10 30. but i could be very wrong.
i'll try using gprs at 3 to see if it works... but i am with voda so i am not sure...
