> T610 via Irda and Win98 (problem)
Bookmark topic
Hi!
Well, let's go straight to the problem. I have laptop with installed Win98 SE and T610 (fw R1L...). When I want to transfer pics from phone to Windows everything works just fine. Phone is automaticaly recognized, pics sent in few seconds and thats it.
BUT! When I try to send something via IR to phone I get error message "Recieving device is not recognized. Check if infrared is turned on reciever" (something like that). Of course, IR is on, I checked 20 times. Maybe is important, I tried to send some background to phone. Can I transfer pictures?
Second thing. I tried sending with "Send To.." command from Win Explorer, also tried directly from infrared device screen where I have "Send" button, but no result.
I tried installing MPM and Sendfile. No results. Phone is not detected. I tried installing SE Image Editor, no results. Phone is not detected.
Eventhough phone is not detected, I can see in My Computer Infrared device with "T610" on it.
Can you help me solve this annoying problem?
Thanks!

You don't need MPM to get it to work. Try reducing IR speed on your PC. Also files sent to phone must be of the right type and size.

If your Irda device is installed properly in the windows device manager then you should be able to just right click on the file and choose the send to Irda device.
