Ok, very cool actually...
What does it mean, it means that the p810 will be released very soon, and really very soon!!!
As for the 'Why?' cause this did not happen with the p800, it was not listed on sites and not so much info as the p810 was available for the p800...

that kinda sucks though, that sony is releasing the p810 so soon. I mean, the p800 isnt even a year old yet is it? or about just a year.

@dobi
i think you have your dates mixed up Dude, the p800 was not released anywhere in the world as early as Feb/march 2002!!
not commercialy unless you got a Developement phone, as part of the Codawarrior Developement pack/Sdk etc etc
anyway as regards the p810/p900 ive been given some info from a good source that said that it will be umts/cdma as well as GSM/GPRS
im sceptical though as i thought the Z1010 was

first 3g phone!!
anyway it looks good and if they discontinue Firmware updates for the p800 and concentrate just on this new p*** then if you put a good enough argument accross they may swap it for you!!, it happened with my Nokia communicator 9110/ 9210 and i kicked up a major fuss over crashing probs/locking up etc that they gave me a brand new model, maybe shop/supplier dependant though!!
anyway Bring it on!!!

t-zones/t-mobile site is correct! t-mobile arevtoo release the P810, in october for same price as P800. free firmware upgrades will be available for all P800 owners in December providing its within warranty/chargeable for those outside warranty just as T68->T68i!!! you heard it here first!!! hope this helps.
