MISSING CALENDAR HIGHLIGHT/BOLDFACE

When you input an appointment in your calendar then you go to the "View month" screen, dates where you have entries are boldfaced, right ? For example, if I add an appointment for December 1, 2003 then I go to the "View month" screen, I will see that the dated December 1, 2003 is boldfaced.

This holds true for appointments that begin at 8:00AM onwards to around 10:30PM which is the range of the screen when you view a certain day.

When I encode an appointment that STARTS earlier than 8:00AM or later than 10:30PM, there is no boldface on that particular date in my "View month" screen. Worse, it removes ALL highlights for other entries in that particular month.

For example, if I have 10 initial entries, 10 different dates for the month of October, all within the range of 8:00AM to 10:30PM, when I go to my "View month" screen, I will see 10 dates that are boldfaced. When I encode another appointment for October, again on a different date vis-a-vis the initial 10 entries, and this new appointment I encode to start at say, 7:30AM, when I go to my "View month" screen, ALL boldfaced dates disappear. The appointment, however, is still there. Only the boldface indication is lost.

If I remove the appointment that was earlier than 8:00AM or revise its starting time to 8:00AM, all boldface indicators come back including the new entry.

Has anyone encountered the same thing ? Before you reply, please try it out first. Remember, it only happens when you encode an appointment earlier than 8:00AM and the boldface indicators only disappear for the particular month where you had the earlier than 8:00AM appointment. When you look at the other months, the bolface indicators are still there.

PHONE HANGS AT "FIND" APPOINTMENTS

When I do a "Find" on my calendar (Calendar > Advanced > Find), and I input ONLY the first letter of what I am trying to find, the phone HANGS and I have to remove the battery to have it restarted.

For example, if I have a calendar entry entitled "Mom's Birthday," then I conduct a "Find" and just input "M" on the "Find" screen, the phone hangs. However, if I input the first 2 letters of what I am trying to find, say "Mo" then it will display all entries that start with the letters "Mo" and the phone is ok.

It looks like only when I input 1 letter in the "Find" screen is when the phone hangs. Again, has anyone encountered the same problem ? Also, again, please try before you reply.

Check it out. Any comments/feedback ?

Thanks.
