Can anyone help? I've looked through the forum and done a search and only found 1 string that gave any advice on this, and this advice didn't seem to work for me.
I'm looking to do a pound (£) sign when writing a message but can't seem to do it. The advice I was given suggested doing a vertical line, then doing a pound sign with one line through it - I can't get that to work though. Is it possible and is that the right way to do it?

try doing vertical line (from bottom to top), then write capital 'L' from top and then put a line across the 'L' (from left to right).

Go into the 'Phone' option select 'Help' from the 'Edit' menu and select 'Hanswriting Recognition' from the list of subjects. That provides you with a full list of all the different symbols available and how to make them.

the handwriting function help topic is very usefull. I dont see why people cant use this function its their in your hand all the time?
Scots why do people not use theese functions? Tell me as you know everything.
