I'm trying to install software to my phone. When I install it I'm advised that the software needs Appforge Booster 3.5 to run. I've installed it from the cd that came with my phone and the phone says its version 3.5, am I doing something wrong?

appforge booster does not come with your phone... you need to download it from www.appforge.com and then install it to your phone...

this enabled programs written in Mobile visual basic to run on your mobile phone

The software came on cd when I bought my phone, it also came with a multimedia cd too.

I managed to sort it, I uninstalled it and reinstalled it a couple of time and that seemed to work!! very strange.

Thanx anyway

I just took a look at the 2 original CD from SE, and i don't see any application who needed AppFroge to work, and not even AppForge on it too ...??? :-/

Are those 2 CD originals or are they CD full of Warez programs???

My P800 also came with 2 cds, a multimedia cd and one with the PC suite on it. The multimedia CD had many things including appforge booster, a few programs, and some extra little things like sounds etc...Appforge worked fine while on my phone, maybe it was the program you were trying to install that was messed up

See.. a warez game...!!! lolllll
Just like i thought, it has nothing to do with the 2 cd's of SE.

You will have to find AppForge, it's a freeware. Follow the link...

There are more versions 3.5 (3.5.999) just download the latest one, it's free.
Although it's all 3.5 there are a lot of small changes and bug fixes.

I've yet to get to the bottom of the argument, but from what I can ascertain...

STAY AWAY FROM APPFORGE

.... it uses several MB of storage space, and most apps that use it are pretty naff anway. I've never once regretted uninstalling it.....

SPC has a point the appforge really is no use only a minority of the programs are good and the app takes a lot of space in phone.
