it just says not connected. what is wrong? i just installed PC Suite for p800 1.3.0 ? Cannot synchronize, cannot do anything.. uninstalled and installed many times...I connect the Station to the PC laptop (dell inspiron 5100) via USB...

I guess you should start with the latest pc suite (1.5.1) from the P800 global support site but also take a look at My PC does not detect my phone. What do I do? Here is what you can try...

listen KUSI your problem its very simpe download the DSS-20 drivers and install them thats it!!or else maybe there are on your cd but when you download a new software upgrade for the connection program the DSS-20 isnt there.

..not quite Arfi - sometimes, the P800 just doesn't sit "quite right" in its cradle, and that can be the reason..... tho' you're probably 90% right....

ja, i tried everything it doesnot work..
it is COM Port 4... over USB. mpm working ok. ENABLED PORT 4, AND ALSO RESERVED. 1.5.1 also I have installed.. still the systray sees it as connected, but the Suite as not connected.. any other ideas?
Should I buy a IrDA - USB Adapter???

or Bluetooth.. which is cheaper?

I have the same problem with the same laptop!! It doesn't react this way on my partner's Acer laptop which I installed few months ago.
So, did you actually sorted out the problem already?

i was told, the P800 OS might be old... updating it in a few hours.let's see..
or the laptop's USBcausing the problem. i am not happy with dell inspiron 5100's USB anyway. but systray sees it. so it is out..

download DCU-11 drivers instead.
that's what i always use when installing the P800's Sync Station in different computers, not the DSS-20 drivers.
